Lesson 39: 〜そうにない/そうもない
Usage:
Polite Form of Verb(drop the ます in the end) + そうにない/そうもない
Meaning:
| 「～そうにない/そうもない」means “It seems that…”. It’s used to express your judgement based on the situation. |
Examples:
| 今夜は寝れそうにない。 It seems that I can’t sleep tonight. 二時まで会社へ戻れそうもない。 It seems that I can’t come back to company before 2 p.m. |
