Lesson 15: 〜から言うと/から言えば/から言って

Usage:

Noun + から言うと/から言えば/から言って

Meaning:

「～から言うと/から言えば/から言って」means “Based on…”.

Example Sentences:

（1）私の経験から言うと、これは間違がっている。
Based on my experience, this is wrong.

（2）我々の観点から言うと、彼の提案は妥当なものだ。
From our point of view, his proposal is reasonable.

（3）彼は学生並から言うと勤勉です。
He is a diligent student, as students go.

（4）建築デザインの立場から言うと、このアプローチにはもっと多くの代案が考えられる。
From the standpoint of architectural design, there can be more alternatives to this approach.

（5）いまの状況から言えば、目標達成は難しいです。
Based on the current situation, it’s hard to achieve the goal.

（6）彼は政治家並から言えば、演説がうまい。
He is a good speaker as politicians go.

（7）私の視点から言えば、オーストラリアは世界で最高の国の１つです。
From my point of view, Australia is one of the best countries in the world.

（8）文学的な見地から言えば、彼の作品は失敗です。
From a literary point of view, his work is a failure.

（9）彼女の性格から言って、この仕事に向いてないです。
Based on her personality, this job is not for her.

（10）私の経験から言って、不眠が元で病気になることがよくある。
From my own experience, illness often comes from sleeplessness.

Note:

The Noun in [Noun + から言うと/から言えば/から言って] can’t be person. 私・彼女・彼+ から言うと/から言えば/から言って is Wrong!
