Usage:

Noun + からすると/からすれば

Meaning:

「～からすると/からすれば」means “From the standpoint of…; Judging from…”.

Example Sentences:

（1）プロからすると、私はまだ未熟です。
From the standpoint of the professional, I’m still inexperienced.

（2）彼の顔つきからすると今は機嫌が悪い。
From the look on his face, he is in a bad mood now.

（3）買い手の立場からするとこれらのＣＤプレーヤーの値段は高すぎる。
From the buyer’s point of view, the prices of these CD players are too high.

（4）周りの事情からすると彼女の話は本当らしかった。
The circumstances gave color to her story.

（5）空模様からすると、今夜あたり雪になるかもしれない。
From the look of the sky, it may begin to snow tonight.

（6）あの言い方からすれば、彼は彼女のことが好きじゃないです。
Judging from his way of talking, he doesn’t like her.

（7）実践的見地からすれば彼の計画は実行しにくい。
From a practical point of view, his plan is not easy to carry out.

（8）その事実は科学の観点からすれば非常に重要です。
That fact is of great importance from the viewpoint of science.

（9）この観点からすれば、彼は正しかったと言えよう。
From this point of view we should say he was right.

（10）あなたが言っていることからすれば、彼はそこにいなかったことになる。
It follows from what you say that he was not there.
