Lesson 81: 〜(さ)せてください

Usage:

①Negative Form of Type-1 Verb(drop the ない in the end)+ せてください/せないでください

②Negative Form of Type-2 Verb(drop the ない in the end)+ させてください/させないでください

③Dictionary Form of Type-3 Verb(drop the する in the end)+ させてください/させないでください

④来くる→来こさせてください/来こさせないでください


Meaning:

「〜させてください」means “Please let…”.
「〜させないでください」means “Please don’t let…”.

Example Sentences:

僕ぼくに任まかせてください。
Please let me handle this.

説明せつめいさせてください。
Please let me explain.

少すこし休やすませてください。
Please let me take a break.

私わたしに行いかせてください。
Please let me go.

私わたしにやらせてください。
Please let me do it.

行いかせないでください。
Please don’t make me go.

怒おこらせないでください。
Please don’t make me angry.

待またせないでください。
Please don’t make me wait.

私わたしを失望しつぼうさせないでください。
Please don’t make me disappointed.

期き待たいさせないでください。
Please don’t make me expect too much.
