Usage:

Noun + がする/がします


Meaning:

「Noun + がする/がします」means “can hear / see / smell etc (noun)”.
It is used to express that the speaker can perceive a sound, voice, taste, smell, fragrance or feeling.

Example Sentences:

トムのこえがする
I can hear Tom.

つうがする
My head hurts.

さむがする
I feel cold.

まだがする
Are you still feeling sick?

あめかんがする
I think that it might rain.

バラはかおがします
The roses smell nice.

いいにおがします
It smells nice.

冷蔵れいぞうからへんおとがします
I can hear a strange sound from the refrigerator.

ゆかつめたいかんがします
The floor feels cold.

鶏肉とりにくのようなあじがします
It tastes like chicken!
