Lesson 60: ちっとも〜ない

Usage:

ちっとも + i-Adj（drop the い in the end）+ くない
ちっとも + na-Adj + ではない/じゃない
ちっとも + Negative Form of Verb

Meaning:

「ちっとも〜ない」means “not … at all”, “never…”.

Example Sentences:

彼女かのじょはちっとも可愛かわいくない。
She is not cute at all.

この問題もんだいはちっとも簡単かんたんじゃない。
This question is not easy at all.

ちっともわからない。
I do not understand it at all.

ちっとも気きにしていない。
I am not worried at all.

ゆうべはちっとも眠ねむれなかった。
I did not sleep at all last night.

この鶏にわとりは近頃ちかごろちっとも卵たまごを産うまない。
This hen does not lay eggs at all these days.

彼かれは父親ちちおやの言いうことをちっとも聞きかない。
He never takes any notice of what his father says.

彼かれの議ぎ論ろんはちっとも合ごう理り的てきではなかった。
His argument was not rational at all.

これらのデータはちっとも正確せいかくではない。
This data is not accurate at all.

しゃっくりがちっとも止とまらないんだよ。
My hiccups won’t stop at all.
