Usage:
Noun + を + くれる/くださる
Meaning:
somebody gives me something |
Example Sentences:
書くものをくれ。 Give me something to write on. 彼は私に塩をくれた。 He gave me the salt. ボートをくれないか。 Can you give me a boat? もう少し時間をくれ。 Give me another minute. トムが電話番号をくれました。 Tom gave me his phone number. ジョンはドイツ語の手紙をくれました。 John sent me a letter written in German. 結婚したとき、両親が家をくれました。 When we married my parents gave me a house. おじいちゃんが誕生日のプレゼントをくれました。 My grandfather gave me a birthday present. 私の叔母さんがクリスマスに本をくれました。 My aunt gave me a book for Christmas. 先生はペンをくださいました。 My teacher gave me a pen. |
Note:
1.くださる is more respectful than くれる,so くださる is often used to express that your superior give you something.
2.The subject is the person who give you something,you can not use くれる/くださる to express that you give others something.Instead,you can use あげる/さしあげる to express that you give others something.
