Meaning:
「~と」means “when…”, “once…”. |
Example Sentences:
雨が降ると、雪が解けます。 When it rains, the snow melts. 父は毎朝起きると、新聞を読みます。 When my father wakes up every morning, he reads the newspaper. このボタンを押すと、ドアが開きます。 When you press this button, the door will open. 成績が悪いと進学できません。 You can’t be able to go on to higher education when your grades are poor. 部屋が静かだとよく勉強できます。 I can study well when the room is quiet. 成績が60点以上だと合格です。 You can pass the exam when your grade is 60 points or more. 私は本を読むと眠くなります。 I will feel asleep when I read books. 春になると暖かくなります。 The weather gets warm when spring comes. ここに車を止めると、駐車違反になります。 You will be in violation of parking once you parked the car here. ここで寝ると風邪を引きますよ。 You will catch a cold when you sleep here. |
