Usage:
Noun 1 は Noun 2 ほど~ない
Noun ほど〜ものはない
Meaning:
「Noun 1 は Noun 2 ほど~ない」means “Noun 1 is not as … as Noun 2“. 「Noun ほど〜ものはない」means “Nothing is … as … Noun“. |
Example Sentences:
私は吉雄ほど忙しくない。 I am not as busy as Yoshio. 嫌いな仕事ほど辛いものはない。 Nothing is as hard as the one you don’t like to do. 日本では富士山ほど高い山はない。 No mountain in Japan is higher than Mt.
