Lesson 28: 〜てばかり/てばかりいる

Usage:

Te Form of Verb + ばかり
Te Form of Verb + ばかりいる

Meaning:

「～てばかり/てばかりいる」means “always…”.

Example Sentences:

母ははが泣ないてばかりいる。
My mother is always crying.

隣となりの犬いぬは吠ほえてばかりいます。
The dog next door is always barking.

ビルは冗じょう談だんを言いってばかりいる。
Bill is always saying joke.

父ちちはしょっちゅう怒おこってばかりいる。
My father is always getting angry.

トムはいつもテレビを見みてばかりいる。
Tom is always watching TV.

私わたしはいつも人ひとの名な前まえを忘わすれてばかりいる。
I’m always forgetting people’s names.

うちのチームはいつも試し合あいに負まけてばかりいます。
My team is always losing.

僕ぼくは彼女かのじょを勇ゆう気き付づけようとしたが、彼女かのじょは泣ないてばかりだった。
I tried to cheer her up, but she was always crying.

スマホを見みてばかりいると目めが悪わるくなるよ。
If you always watch your phone, your eyes will get worse.

あのチームは負まけてばかりだ。
That team always lose.
