Lesson 89: 〜ないではない/ないでもない

Usage:

①Negative Form of Verb + ではない/でもない
②i-Adj (drop the い in the end) + く + ないではない/ないでもない
③na-Adj + で + ないではない/ないでもない
④Noun + も/が + ないではない/ないでもない


Meaning:

「~ないではない/ないでもない」means “It’s not that I don’t…”.

Examples:

からないでもないが、どうしても納得なっとくできない。
It’s not that I don’t understand, I just can not be convinced.
 
ぞく一緒いっしょ旅行りょこうきたいもないではないが、なかなかそのかんれない。
It’s not that I don’t want to travel with my family, I just don’t have spare time.
