Usage:

Noun 1 + (が)あっての + Noun 2
Meaning:
「A + (が)あっての + B」is used to express that A is necessary to B. |
Examples:
あなたの支えがあっての成功です。 This success is thanks to your support. Anata no sasae ga atte no seikou desu. 家族があっての幸せだと思う。 I believe happiness is only possible because of family. Kazoku ga atte no shiawase da to omou. 練習があっての勝利だ。 Victory is only possible because of practice. Renshuu ga atte no shouri da. 健康があっての人生だ。 Life is only meaningful if you have your health. Kenkou ga atte no jinsei da. 信頼関係があってのチームワークだ。 Teamwork is only possible with mutual trust. Shinrai kankei ga atte no chiimuwaaku da. 努力があっての結果だ。 The results are thanks to the effort. Doryoku ga atte no kekka da. 読者があっての作家です。 Writers exist thanks to their readers. Dokusha ga atte no sakka desu. 仲間があっての成功体験だった。 It was a successful experience made possible by my companions. My Japanese friend told me あってこそ could be used. What is the difference, is it a dialect or formality?
They are the same. But ~あっての is more formal.
