Examples:
| 電車の窓から外をみるともなく見ていたら、高校時代の同級生の姿が目に入った。 I saw a classmate from high school while looking out from the train window without a purpose. レストランで、となりの席の話を聞くともなしに聞いていたら、うちの会社のことだったので驚いた。 I was surprised to hear about my company at a restaurant while listening to people next to me without a purpose. |
