Usage:

Dictionary Form of Verb + だに
Noun + だに

Meaning:

「〜だに」means “just…”; “even…”.
It’s often used with 想像そうぞうする、考かんがえる、聞きく、思おもう、口くちに出だす.

Examples:

地じ震しんのことなど想像そうぞうするだに恐おそろしい。
It’s scary to just imagine an earthquake.

自じ分ぶんが政せい治じ家かになろうとは、想像そうぞうだにしていなかった。
I did not even imagine myself becoming a politician.
