Meaning

In Japanese,労 means “labor”.

Onyomi:ろう

Onyomi:
労働(ろうどう)→labor
苦労(くろう)する→to struggle

Origin:

You can see a bag.
So you can remember this kanji by “this man’s job is to carry the bag.”
