In Japanese,絵 means “painting”.

Kunyomi:None
Onyomi:え、かい


How to write it:


Origin:

You can see the thread and 会.
会う means “to meet”.
So you can remember this kanji by “If you show this thread when we met, I will give you this painting.”

Note:
