Usage:

Te Form of Verb + からでないと/からでなければ


Meaning:

「〜てからでないと/てからでなければ」is used to express that if you don’t do something first, you can’t do another thing.

Examples:

今日きょう宿しゅくだいわってからでないと、あそびにいけない。
You can’t play if you don’t finish today’s homework.
 
もうすこたいてき説明せつめいいてからでなければ、その計画けいかくには賛成さんせいできません。
I can’t agree on this plan if I don’t listen to more specific explanation.
