Lesson 31: いつも~
Usage:
いつも + Adj/Noun/Verb/Sentence…
Meaning:
「いつも〜」 means “always…”. |
Example Sentences:
いつも忙しいの? Are you always busy? いつもこうなの? Is it always this way? いつもこんな感じ? Is it always like this? 彼はいつも明るい。 He is always cheerful. 真実はいつも一つ! There is always only one truth! いつもそばにいるよ。 I will always be there for you. 彼はいつも時間を守る。 He is always punctual. いつもこんなに無口なの? Are you always this quiet? 彼はいつも勉強している。 He is always studying. 彼はいつも君を見ている。 He is always looking at you. 私はいつも6時に起きる。 I always get up at six. |
Note:
いつも can be used as a noun too. It means “usual”. 私はいつもより早く起きた。 I got up earlier than usual. いつもと同じです。 It is the same as usual. |

Excuse me, I have a question.. what if you want to use “was/were” instead of “is?” For example, “My wallet was always this empty,” or “we were always happy.” Thank you in advance^
