〜後(あと)/後で

Usage:

Past Tense Form of Verb + あと/あと
Noun + の + 後/後で
 
Meaning:
You use 〜後/後で to express the order of two actions.
Action A +  後/後で+ Action B → means “You need to do Action A before you do Action B”.
 
Note:
Difference between 〜てから and 〜あと/あとで:
〜てから:the time interval between two actions shouldn’t be too long.
あと/あとで:the time interval between two actions can be short or long.

Example:

わたしはゲームをやったあとました。
I went to bed after I played games.

Voice:

しょくあとで、さんしませんか。
Would you like to take a walk after meal?
