Meaning

In Japanese, 験 means “to try”.

How to read it:

Kunyomi:Not often used
Onyomi:けん

Onyomi:
試験(しけん)→exam

Origin:

You can see a horse and two people.
And you can remember 験 by “Two people are trying to ride this horse”.
So 験 stands for “to try”.
