Introduction
Particle is something attached to the end of word to express the relationship between words.
Note:
| You can’t use particle alone. Particle must be attached to something else (noun, verb, adjective, etc.). |
Types of Particles:
| There are many particles in Japanese. But in modern Japanese, particles can be divided into four types: ①case particle ②conjunction particle ③adverbial particle ④sentence-ending particle Notes: ①We will learn case particle in this course because this is the most important type. ②In order to make your life easier, I changed the text color to red for all particles in this course. |
Case Particle:
Case particle is usually attached to a noun to express the relationship between this noun and other words. (noun, verb and adjective).
Examples:
| Japanese | English |
| 庭の花 | Flowers in the garden |
| 山田さんと田中さん | Mr.Yamada and Mr.Tanaka |
| 机の上に本があります。 | There is a book on the desk. |
| 本を読みます。 | I will read a book. |
| 10時から授業を始めます。 | I will start the class at 10 o’clock. |

I guess we will learn about the other types in progressive gramar courses, but in the verb course we got the important forms and after that the other forms where you say that we can come back to those forms later, maybe its interesting and worth considering having the same structure here
