Meaning

In Japanese,巻 means “to roll”. 

How to read it:

Kunyomi:ま
Onyomi:かん

Kunyomi:
巻(ま)く→to roll

Onyomi:
全巻(ぜんかん)→whole volume

Origin:

You can see someone rolling his body.
So 巻 means “to roll”. 

Note: There is some difference between Chinese kanji and Japanese kanji, you should use Japanese kanji. (Which has a 己 below.)
