Mission 11: らりるれろ

In this lesson, we’ll learn five new hiragana:
ら・り・る・れ・ろ
Let’s dive in! ✨

ら is pronounced as /la/.

り is pronounced as /li/.

る is pronounced as /lu/.

れ is pronounced as /le/.

ろ is pronounced as /lo/.

Romaji of らりるれろ:

Hiragana	ら、り、る、れ、ろ
Romaji	ra, ri, ru, re, ro

Note:

ら・り・る・れ・ろ are pronounced a bit like [la, li, lu, le, lo], but their romaji is written as ra, ri, ru, re, ro.
When writing in romaji—or answering quiz questions—make sure to type ra, ri, ru, re, ro. ✨

り is kind of similar to い in some fonts, be sure to not confuse them.
