In this lesson, we’ll learn three new katakana:
ヤ・ユ・ヨ

ヤ is pronounced as /ya/.

Tip	A yacht in the sea.  ヤ as in “yacht”.

There are only two words composed only of katakana from アイウエオ・カキクケコ・サシスセソ・タチツテト・ナニヌネノ・ハヒフヘホ・マミムメモ・ヤユヨ, and there are no words that use ヨ.

Therefore, such words will not appear in the quiz or the anime clips video in this lesson. However, as the course progresses, ヨ will appear in words in later lessons.
