Is there a point having kanji in the text if it isn’t learned yet?
Maybe it would be better to have a separate hiragana\katakana reading course?
It will be very hard to read if there are only hiragana and katakana…
Ik I’m late on this but I feel like talking so I wanna say that I agree with Marshall. It’s much harder to read without kanji (especially if you are a beginner). Without the kanji, I would have an extremely hard time separating words, particles, and other grammar points. Not sure why there are beginner resources that use no kanji since it would be so much harder to read
It’s impossible to read if you don’t know kanji though.
May be a separate exercise in alphabet course?
Yes! The purpose is to teach you the method to read Japanese sentences. Kanji is doesn’t matter here. You need to learn how to separate part of speech by particles.
“You need to learn how to separate part of speech by particles.”
That should be in this lesson’s description. Also,
“All Particles you have learned in Particle Course will be marked as red color to make it easier to read.”
All text is white in dark mode.
