N5 Grammar 19:まだ〜

Usage 1:

まだ + Positive Expression

Meaning:
You use まだ + Positive Expression to express that something is still going on,something is not over.

Note:
If the verb is ある・いる,you should use まだ〜あります・います.
If the verb is not ある・いる,you should use まだ〜ています.

Example of Usage 1:

まだみせいています。
The shop is still open.

Voice:

まだいちかんあります。
I still have an hour.

Voice:

Usage 2:

まだ + Negative Expression

Meaning:
You use まだ + Negative Expression to express that something will happen later.

Note:
You should use まだ + Te form of verb + いません.

Example of Usage 2:

かれはまだていません。
He hasn’t come yet.
