Meaning

In Japanese,氷 means “ice”.

Kunyomi:こおり
Onyomi:ひょう

Kunyomi:
かき氷(ごおり)→shaved ice

Onyomi:
氷山(ひょうざん)→iceberg

Origin:

You can see some ice here. So 氷 means “ice”.

Note: There is some difference between Chinese kanji and Japanese kanji, you should use Japanese kanji.(Which only has one point and the position is different too.)
