Meaning

In Japanese,悩 means “to worry about”. 

How to read it:

Kunyomi:なや
Onyomi:のう

Kunyomi:
悩(なや)む→to worry about

Onyomi:
悩殺(のうさつ)する→to bewitch

Origin:

You can see a heart and a head here.
When you are worrying about something, both your heart and your head are affected.
So 悩 means “to worry about”.

Note: There is some difference between Chinese kanji and Japanese kanji, you should use Japanese kanji.
