Meaning:

「ちょっと」means “a moment”, “a little”.
Sometimes it won’t be translated, it has a nuance of “a little”, “short time”.


Examples:

ちょっとて。
Come here.

ちょっとって!
Wait a moment.

ちょっとせて。
Let me take a gander.

ちょっといそがしい。
I’m a little busy.

ちょっとやすんだら?
Why don’t you rest a bit?

ちょっとつだって。
Just help me.

ちょっといいですか?
Let me speak.

ちょっといてもいい?
May I ask you something?

ちょっと失礼しつれいします。
Excuse me a moment.

今日きょうはちょっとさむい。
It’s a little cold today.
