Meaning:

「きっと」means “for sure”, “be certain to…”, “I bet it…”, “You must…”.


Examples:

かれはきっとる。
He’ll come for sure.

彼女かのじょはきっとつ。
She’ll win for sure.

きっとだいじょうだよ。
You’re going to be OK for sure.

彼女かのじょはきっとおどろく。
She is certain to be surprised.

明日あしたはきっとあめだよ。
I bet it will rain tomorrow.

かれはきっと成功せいこうする。
He is sure to succeed.

きっとはたらきすぎですよ。
You must have been working too hard.

きっとあめになりますよ。
The weather is sure to be wet.

きっとおふくろおこるよ。
I’m sure Mom will get mad.

かれはきっとこうちょう先生せんせいだ。
I bet he is our principal.
