Meaning:

「いっぱい」means “full”, “a lot of…”, “so many…”.


Examples:

軍隊ぐんたいがいっぱいている。
It’s getting full of soldiers.

はんをいっぱいべます。
I eat a lot of rice.

いっぱいおかねかせぎたい。
I want to earn a lot of money.

そらにはほしがいっぱいえた。
The sky was full of stars.

かれびんみずをいっぱいれた。
He filled the bottle with a lot of water.

わたしげんいっぱいまなんでます。
I’m learning lots of languages.

はやしなかでいっぱいむしにさされた。
I got a lot of insect bites in the woods.

しいほんいっぱいあってこまるわ。
There are so many books that I want…what should I do?

ごめん、いっぱい愚痴ぐちっちゃった。
Sorry, I complained a lot.

彼女かのじょなみだをいっぱいためていた。
Her eyes were full of tears.
