Japanese Adverb Lesson

Meaning:

「色々いろいろ」means “various”.

Examples:

色々いろいろありがとう。
Thanks for everything.

コーヒーにもいろいろある。
There are many kinds of coffee.

いろいろ悩なやみがおありのようですね。
You’ve got a lot of problems, don’t you?

彼女かのじょの家いえにはいろいろ違ちがった方法ほうほうで行いける。
You can get to her house in a variety of different ways.

伝聞でんぶんであることを示しめす表ひょう現げんはいろいろある。
There are various expressions that indicate something is hearsay.

あなたの学校がっこう生活せいかつについてもっと色々いろいろ知しりたい。
I want to know more about your school life.

いろいろ面倒めんどうをかけるがそれでも私わたしは彼かれが好すきだ。
He gives us a lot of trouble, but I like him all the same.

日に本ほん語ごの表ひょう現げんは面白おもしろいものがいろいろあります。
There are plenty of funny expressions in Japanese.

いろいろあったけど、私わたしたちは今いまも親友しんゆうです。
We’ve had our ups and downs, but we are still the best of friends.

いろいろ考かんがえてみたが、それでもやりたい。
I have considered many things, but I still want to do it.

Notes:

①It can be written as 「いろいろ」. They are the same.
②々 is a repetition kanji or “ideographic iteration mark”, it means that the kanji just before should be repeated.
