  1. Oof. 100% on the kanji – a paltry 40% here. 本当にひどいです。

Still, at least I now know where to improve!

  4. ねる(まえに) はを みがきましょう。
So many particles one after another? Why?

1.は here is “teeth”, it’s not a particle.

    2. It would help to have them written in kanji, there’s a lot of ambiguity with kana.

    3. I’d say leave it in hiragana depending on how it may appear in the actual JLPT given these quizzes seem to be made to help people prepare for the test (as well as just general practice).

I’ve already passed the N5 and I know kanji like 歯 probably won’t appear on the actual test (though they may include it with furigana).

  7. This quiz is great. Really shows me the mistakes I make in Japanese grammar. Also really helpful for someone who’s been self-learning for 3 years already and decided to take some actual grammar lessons haha.

    I have a question though:

    佐藤さんは私の誕生日に綺麗な花を(貰い / 呉れ)ました。

Can I know what’s the difference between 貰い【もらい】and 呉れ【くれ】in this context?

  8. 90% !!!
As I thought, I’m really bad at using particles.
