Passive Form

In this lesson,I will teach you how to convert Japanese verbs to Passive Form.

How to change Japanese verbs to Passive Form?

type-one verb:change the u-hiragana to a-hiragana and add れる in the end,for example,く→かれる,but when it is a verb looks like xx-う,for example,う,then you need to change う to わ,not あ,う→われる,that is an exception.

type-two verb:change theる in the end to られる ,for example,べる→べられる

type-three verb: change the する in the end toされる ,for example,べんきょうする→べんきょうされる

How to use Passive Form?

わたし先生せんせいしかられた。

I was scolded by the teacher.

 

彼女かのじょかれにキスされた。

She was kissed by him.
