i enjoy this.. very nice
Thank you!
Hmmmm, I think the system should allow both ‘fu’ and ‘hu’ for ふ. Many/most other systems for learning Japanese sounds consider ‘fu’ to be more ‘official’ (for lack of a better word), but will usually also accept ‘hu’. The Hepburn system uses ‘fu’, as well as ‘shi’ and ‘chi’. The other systems that use ‘hu’ use ‘si’ and ‘ti’ instead. This system here is forcing a mix, requiring ‘hu’, but also ‘shi’ and ‘chi’. Probably should just accept whatever would work in a typical IME system, which I just confirmed accepts both ‘fu’ and ‘hu’.
I have changed it to fu as it is the most used one.
ふ should be accepted as “fu” rather than just “hu”
I changed it to fu as this is the “official” one!
I spent days practicing hiragana to remember it, when I was finally ready to study the katakana, and take the tests, it keeps asking me to log back in and when I do it takes me back to the beggining. When I click on the hiragana tests it works but when i click on the Katakana tests it makes me login again.
You can try it again. I tested it using my test account, it works now.
ee…is there anyway to make “enter” by default as :next:? it ruins my rhythm when i gotta click next after each word.. i think
I will add this feature in the next update, and I will add a choice test so that you can practice your Kana smoothly!
Is there anything you can do to make it more faster to answer? 😅 because my phone keeps on lagging whenever I have to click in the textbox to answer and press the next button. Also, It consumes so much time. 😅 Regardless of that, I’ve really enjoy it so far and I’m learning thank you for your effort😇
I’m trying to achieve this feature now! It takes some time but I will try my best!
10/10 i love it!
Just wanted to say thanks Marshall and anyone who’s on the team, I’m learning all this so effortlessly after a few days of only practicing for 10-15 mins a day can’t wait to start katakana
you are welcome! By the way, there is no team. I made everything myself.
Everything so perfect for a beginner. If had known you sooner this would’ve helped me much more but nonetheless it’s helping me. I have suggestion too if that is okay. I just find it hard because instead of using romaji why not just use kana when you need to type the furigana? Just a thought of mine and i hope you see this opinion of mine. いつもありがとうございます!
I have thought about it too. But many people don’t know how to type kana on desktop. So I chose the romaji.
I really like this the only thing i have to say about it is that if i press restart my previous answers are still loaded so i have to manually delete them. But other then that it is really nice to learn
Which browser are you using?
I am using Firefox
why does sa look like a backward of chi, but it look completely different from the one I saw before.
I noticed that too, if you are referring towards the Hiragana Input Test (Easy).
Let’s GO!!! Got no. 256 on the Leaderboard as of 22/04/20
I learned the Hiragana alphabet easier than I thought. This is a great website. Thank you :))
you are welcome!
I got pretty confused with the drawing of yu
Yeah, it depends on the font.
Isn’t the ”wo” just a gramatical o. I am pretty sure there is no letter called wo just o and gramatical o wich is the ”wo” you guys are putting just asking
btw wanted to aslo say that this website is really amazing to be made by only one person. Just wanted to like cheer ya up. I thought this was made by group of people but no only one person :O. Amazing job.
Done!
Yay! I got less than 20 seconds.
Wow! Congrats!
Again💯😊
90% again :/ i’ll work harder.
Just like writing, this test encourages students to make recognition of characters like it’s a habit. Even if it’s in romaji, it’s a food start for muscle memory. Thank you for your efforts!
I’ve done this about 50 times and now I can read the hiragana faster than ever. Thank you!!!
You are welcome!
